Cheongju City, North Chungcheong Province, will spend 45.1 billion won this year to promote customized transportation policies.

According to Cheongju City on the 9th, the transportation environment for the vulnerable will be improved to create a pedestrian-first city.

Traffic safety signs, speed bumps, and sidewalks will be installed in eight locations, including Seochon Elementary School and Miwon 5-ri Village Hall, to improve protection zones for children and the elderly.

Following the installation of 20 crosswalk LED lights last year to prevent pedestrian accidents at night, 150 will be installed this year.
